Hi,

I commented out the section on ezmlm-archive to run the rest of the test
and found this:

ezmlm-send (from): Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "My Name 1 via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "My Name 2 via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "My Name 3 via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "My Name 4 via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "test5.example.org via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "test6.yahoo.com via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "My Name 7 via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: Header is missing or wrong From: line:
From: "My Name 8 via __tstlist" ####@####.####
..............: OK
ezmlm-send trailer:   OK
omitbottom (-manage): OK
omitbottom (-get):    OK
Cleaning up...

The headers generated by one or more ezmlm-idx programs
did not match their expected values. Please see above
for more details.

If I modify the grephdr function to cat the headers to the screen, I
don't see why this is failing, though.

grephdr() {
   # Search for the header line, and produce an error if it didn't match.
   egrep "^$*$" "$QQHDR" >/dev/null 2>&1 || \
   {
     cat "$QQHDR"
     echo "Header is missing or wrong $1 line:";
     grep -i "^$1" "$QQHDR"
     BUG="${BUG} headers"
     prompt "..............: "
   }
   # Remove any found lines from the header file
   grep -iv "^$1" "$QQHDR" >"${TMP}hdr"
   mv -f "${TMP}hdr" "$QQHDR"
}

Here's what I get:

for more details.

To my eye, those From headers are what they ought to be, so I'd be
willing to bet that this is another variant between BSD's egrep and the
rest.

But if someone could confirm that, please, I'd appreciate it, especially
since this is testing the very functionality that was added to 7.2.2.

Thanks!

Jeff Ross

Anybody? Or should I just take the chance and install it?

Thanks,

Jeff
